Welcome to Renaissance Lodge #312, the premier English-Style Table Lodge in Washington. Formed in 1989 under the auspices of PGM George R. Bordewick and several other like-minded Masons,
Renaissance Lodge has established a solid reputation for Fraternalism, Education and Hospitality. Our Raison d'Etre is built around short Stated Meetings--and then off to the Festive Board
where either Members or Guest Speakers present topics of Masonic relevance and interest to the Brothers. Complete with Masonic Toasts, Cannons and a Prime Rib Dinner--Renaissance Lodge has
brought back the conviviality which distinguished the early English Masonic Lodges.

All Meetings commence promptly at 6:30pm, adjourning to our traditional feast, toasts and conversation at the festive board at 7:30pm.

our Attendees.
Our programs for this and
the coming years are inspired by the upcoming Tri-Centennial of the first
Masonic Grand Lodge in England formed in 1717. Though Free Masonry
had existed for many centuries prior to that, 1717 marks the inauguration of
a systematic and consistent approach to the practice of our Rituals. Each
speaker at our Festive Board over the next several years will introduce one
portion of the many aspects of Medieval Culture which helped form
the backbone of this Fraternal Society. Free Masons are men who have
dedicated their lives to: Knowledge of the world around them; an exploration
of the powerful symbols and traditions which have been the basis for so many
profound changes in Society; and extending the hand of Brotherly Love within
the communities around us.
